stringsta joins the dots with bbc
Around 500 writers recently participated in the BBC's World of Mancunia Creative Writing project on Stringsta.
Users collaborated to create new storylines, characters and audio scenes online in response to an exciting drama, Crimes of Mancunia, written by poet Michael Symmons Roberts, broadcast on BBC Radio 4 on Wednesday 23rd June.
BBC drama producers monitored the site in the search for talent as well as guiding stories along and suggesting new possibilities.
Stringsta™ is a new way for people to collaborate creatively using text, image, audio and video in response to online content via a simple and intuitive map. Each story ‘string’ can branch in any direction allowing users to create alternative story lines and sequence them any way they want.
Stringsta is also a business tool allowing orgainizations access to secure social media platforms and a learning tool for delivering collaborative learning journeys.
