THE WRITE KIT shortlisted for BETT Award.
The Write Kit Key Stage 3 Creative Writing Interactive DVD-Video produced by 186 Media has been shortlisted for the 2007 BETT Awards, the top awards for educational digital resources.
Selected in the Secondary Core Digital Content category alongside the likes of Channel 4 Learning, Collins Education and Texas Instruments, The Write Kit is 186 Media's first product for the education market.
Director of 186 Learning, Michael Fox, reacted with delight to the news. "I am thrilled that our vision for stimulating students' creativity and boosting their writing skills has been recognised in this way. We are extremely honoured to have been shortlisted for such a prestigious award."
The Write Kit Key Stage 3 contains 17 video-based exercises which require pupils to meet a variety of challenges in writing stories, poems, dramas, letters and adverts.
