186 Networks announces the Beta launch of its revolutionary new social creativity platform, Stringsta, that allows registered users to form a network to generate multimedia content using their phones and the internet.

Ditching the need for separate applications, Stringsta ties everything and everyone together in one simple collaborative interface.

Content can be uploaded from a mobile direct to the interface for others to edit or augment.

Currently on test with the BBC, Open University, NHS and other organizations, we hope to announce the live, open collaboration platform in Autumn 2009.
